Windows 11 Update to Enable RGB Lighting Control
New settings for device lighting make an appearance in build 25295. Is this the beginning of the end for low quality RGB gamer gear apps? 🎮 The spec for this is from 2018 and references to the feature have been around for years. Not cancelled after all 🥳https://t.co/oG4JbKsoeB pic.twitter.com/bMtxCH8REo

New customization options in Microsoft’s upcoming Windows 11 build will allow users to control the RGB lighting on their PC gaming accessories.
The Verge reported that a preview of the update revealed a personalization tab with options to control brightness, effect speed, lighting effects, and color changes. The update will also feature a toggle to match the Windows accent color and an ambient lighting toggle for specific devices.
The update will eliminate the need for third-party software to customize the lighting of gaming accessories, and screenshots provided show personalization options for devices such as the Stream Deck MK.2, Gaming KB, and Precision Mouse. While the new Windows 11 update has not been officially announced, it is expected to feature native RGB support.
