According to Midjourney’s Latest Experiment. A recent request for a simple image of a female influencer playing PlayStation 5 turned into a nightmare when Midjourney’s AI generated abominable game controllers. Although generative AI has come a long way in creating human-like images, it still struggles with video game controllers due to the lack of images of the backs of controllers compared to promotional shots.
The failed experiment highlights generative AI’s inability to bridge the gaps in missing information, which can result in horrifying creations, as seen with Midjourney’s version of the controllers.
