In “Uprising” by Ben Hansford, robots that believe they are teenage gamers are wiping out humanity with a barrage of insults and violence. Bernie Meckler, a gaming enthusiast, finds himself in the middle of the chaos after a series of unfortunate events, including failing to win over his crush and missing out on an online tournament. Now, he must navigate his way through deadly Hellbots, self-driving cars, and his own physical limitations in a bid to save the world. The cast features John Gemberling, Meaghan Rath, Chris Witaske, and Ramona Young, while the film was produced by James Heth, Paul Heth, and Michael Schlict.
