Summoners War: Chronicles Launches ‘Serious’ Collaboration With One-Punch Man Game
Summoners War: Chronicles, the action RPG game, has announced a worldwide collaboration with the popular One Punch Man anime. The collaboration introduces a gamut of limited-time content and rewards that feature eight major One Punch Man characters in the game as Monsters, each with unique abilities and techniques from the original anime. The One Punch Man collaboration with Summoners War: Chronicles launched on Thursday and introduced a pity system, making it easier to obtain the natural 5-star collaboration Monsters. Players will also receive in-game rewards from daily missions and logging in.
While Saitama, the protagonist of One Punch Man, does not appear as a Monster, players can encounter him as an NPC and in dungeon quest cutscenes. The new collaboration dungeon, “Evolution of Ascension,” will feature Carnage Kabuto as the final boss creature.
The Summoners War: Chronicles’ YouTube channel began streaming a full trailer on Tuesday, showcasing the One Punch Man characters and their abilities. The collaboration features eight major One Punch Man characters, including natural 5-star fire-type Genos and Atomic Samurai, water-type Garou and Silverfang, wind-type Terrible Tornado and Hellish Blizzard, natural 4-star dark-type King, and light-type Mumen Rider.
Com2uS launched Summoners War: Chronicles, which achieved 10 billion KRW in sales in just a week, on PC and smartphone devices on August 16. The global server launched in March. With the new collaboration, players can enjoy the combination of both franchises and experience a unique gaming experience.
