Rocket League Premium Rocket Pass Now Included for Fortnite Crew Subscribers
For almost two years, Fortnite Crew subscribers have been able to enjoy a range of benefits for a $12 monthly fee. This includes access to the current battle pass, a monthly deposit of 1,000 V-Bucks, an exclusive Crew skin, and various other cosmetics. As of today, subscribers have yet another perk to enjoy: access to Rocket League’s premium Rocket Pass.
Similar to Fortnite, Rocket League releases a new season and Rocket Pass approximately four times a year. From now on, active Fortnite Crew subscribers will receive the latest premium ($10) Rocket Pass at no extra cost. Each Rocket Pass has historically offered more than 70 rewards per season, such as new battle-cars, wheels, decals, goal explosions, and more.
Like the Fortnite battle pass, Rocket Pass cosmetics are exclusive and cannot be obtained after the end of the season. This move is the latest in a series of collaborations between the two games, which began after Epic Games, the developer and publisher of Fortnite, acquired Psyonix, the developer and former publisher of Rocket League.
The two games have previously collaborated on events such as Llama-Rama, which later included the mobile spin-off, Rocket League Sideswipe. Last year, Rocket League’s poster car, Octane, was also featured as a vehicle on the Fortnite island, complete with all of its boosting, flips, and tricks. It is likely that the two games will continue to collaborate in the future, as Epic seeks to maintain player engagement in its two biggest first-party games.
