Coming Soon: A Handheld Mobile Gaming Device Made by Razer, Verizon, and Qualcomm

Verizon & Razer and Qualcomm are making a 5G handheld mobile gaming device called the Razer Edge 5G. It’s built on the Snapdragon G3X Gen 1 gaming platform, Qualcomm’s gaming chip that was teased in December 2021.

It is an Android streaming device that will allow you to play your favorite games regardless of whether you are gaming in the cloud, on an app, or streaming from your console, in addition to playing locally downloaded games.

Verizon will announce more details about Razer Edge 5G at RazerCon on October 15.

Google Is Shutting Down Its Cloud-Gaming Service Stadia Next Year

Stadia was first spoken about in early 2019 at the GDC event and then officially launched in November that year. The gaming platform had an impressive lineup of third-party games such as Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Cyberpunk 2077, and Doom Eternal in its library. But now, Google has announced that they will be officially shutting down their cloud streaming service on January 18, 2023.

If you have already made any purchases then, All Stadia hardware purchases made through the Google Store will be refunded, including games and add-on content purchased from that storefront.

The Wait is Over: Intel Will Soon Enter the GPU Race with Intel’s Arc A770

Intel has officially announced that it will enter the desktop GPU market next month with its Arc A770 graphics card.

Intel’s Arc A770 uses Intel’s Xe graphical architecture and features 16GB of GDDR6 memory, 32 Xe cores, a 21000MHz clock, AI-driven upscaling, and advanced hardware ray tracing acceleration. It supports Xe Super Sampling (XeSS), Intel’s supersampling technology that will compete with AMD’s FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) and Nvidia’s DLSS.

The Intel Arc A770 will be available beginning October 12 at $329 only.
