Sony is on a roll with PlayStation 5 consoles.

They have already shipped more than 25 million consoles up to now and have significantly stepped up production. As per their latest earning report they have sold more than 3.3 million PS5s in the three-month period up to 30th September, which is equal to what they did in 2021.

Sony sold around 5.7 million PS5s since the beginning of this financial year (April 2022), leaving Sony on an uphill task to reach its target of selling 18 million consoles by March 2023. But according to Sony’s executive deputy president and CFO Hiroki Totoki, the 18 million target is still achievable as Sony has exceeded its own expectations by fabricating 6.5 million PS5s during the Q2 period alone.

This beats all previous Call of Duty Records with this massive debut. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare brought in more than $800 million globally in “sell-through” after its first three days post the release on October 28, making it the “No. 1 top-selling opening weekend ever” for Call of Duty franchise.

An Elden Ring player GinoMachino who is a Twitch streamer has defeated every single boss without taking a single hit.

He beat a total of 165 bosses, ranging from easier bosses in Limgrave, to the difficult ones, like Malenia. He took two months to plan out the route for the no-hit run, before finally completing the challenge on October 25. This also means if GinoMachino got even a single scratch from any boss, he had to start the entire game over from the start.

Believably so, GinoMachino was in total disbelief upon defeating the last boss in his perfect run.

The Bayonetta saga continues, Platinum Games tried to hire Hellena Taylor for $15,000. They stated, Taylor has asked for a six-figure along with residuals on the game, which they declined. They auditioned a new actor after lengthy negotiations. Finally, Platinum offered Taylor a cameo in the game for the fee of one session, which she turned down.

But, Taylor has now confirmed that this is an “an absolute lie” and said Platinum was “trying to save their ass and the game.” She has posted a series of videos on Twitter last Saturday explaining why she did not reprise the role for Bayonetta 3, and calling for a boycott of the game.
