The ‘first’ 8K Ultrawide Gaming Monitor will be Samsung’s Next 49-inch Mini-LED Gaming Monitor ‘Odyssey Neo-G9’

With AMD unveiling Radeon RX 7900 GPUs that can output 8K video at high refresh rates, gamers will need displays that can handle them — and Samsung is happy to join the bandwagon with Odyssey Neo G9, it is the first 8K ultrawide gaming monitor. With DisplayPort 2.1-capable video card to help that screen to reach its potential.

Odyssey Neo G9 will most likely be an expensive monitor as the previous-gen Odyssey Neo G9 presently sells at $2,200 with ‘just’ a 5,120 x 1,440 resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate.

You won’t see a full launch until CES in January, so its a wait & watch.

Xbox Boss Phil Spencer Reveals Microsoft Loses Between $100-$200 On Every Xbox It Sells

Video game consoles are very expensive pieces of computer hardware put into relatively small boxes and packaged with pricey controllers, so it’s not a shocking revelation by Microsoft head of gaming Phil Spencer that they are losing up to $200 for every console sold.

In a recent interview he spoke about how video games and the Xbox brand in specific are doing during the ongoing economic downturn. Microsoft loses around $100 every time it sells the $500 Xbox Series X and loses even more, up to $200, whenever it sells the smaller, $300 Xbox Series S. But the company recoups the losses by selling accessories and subscriptions.
