Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3: Rocket’s Animal Companions steal the show, say MCU fans

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has taken the world by storm with its explosive mix of adventure, emotion, and unlikely stars – the adorable animal experiments of the High Evolutionary. From Lylla, the sweet otter voiced by MCU vet Linda Cardellini, to Teefs, the lovable walrus voiced by Asim Chaudhry, and Floor, the excitable bunny voiced by Mikaela Hoover, Rocket’s furry friends have captured the hearts of fans worldwide in a short span of time.

But their endearing presence in the movie is not without a price – as the tragic fates of these animal companions leave audiences devastated and heartbroken. Even director James Gunn has expressed his affection for these characters, sharing cute test footage of baby Rocket and Floor before the movie’s release and donning a shirt that reads “Lylla & Rocket & Floor and Teefs” on opening day.

With their limited screen time, fans are left with burning questions about these beloved characters, with Gunn himself declaring a favorite: Floor. And it’s not just their personalities that have made them fan favorites – the “vivid and spectacular” visual effects work has brought these creatures to life with a perfect blend of cartoonishness and realism, as noted by IGN’s Joshua Yehl in his glowing review of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

It’s no wonder that fans have already started creating fan art in tribute to these adorable animal companions, and we can’t help but feel misty-eyed at the thought of their tragic endings. Despite the intense action, Peter and Gamora’s reunion, and Rocket’s heartbreaking origin story, it’s these unlikely stars that have left an indelible mark on audiences and proven that sometimes, it’s the little things that matter most.”

Nintendo Unboxing Story Takes a Tragic Turn, but Ends on a Positive Note

In August 2022, a tragic story surfaced in the world of Nintendo collectors. Erik Voskuil, a serious collector, thought he had struck gold when he came across two decks of souvenir playing cards featuring Kyoto in the 1950s, which were some of the best examples of the kind of things Nintendo used to make before switching to video games. However, when he opened them up, disaster struck. The cards had fused together completely, turning into one solid block of paper.

Voskuil’s story, which appeared on various websites, ended up on news feeds and Google search results, reaching people outside the usual video game collector circles. As a result, he was offered two decks from two different people, both from the United States, who had read about the cards on his blog. One deck had been obtained through an estate sale, while the other had been discovered in an abandoned house. Voskuil made deals to purchase both decks, and now has them in his possession in pristine condition.

This story is a testament to the power of the internet and the reach of social media. It’s also a reminder of the value of rare and historic items, and the lengths collectors will go to obtain them. Voskuil’s passion and determination paid off in the end, and he now has two beautiful decks of playing cards to add to his collection.

In conclusion, while the initial story of the fused cards was a tragedy, it ended on a happy note thanks to the internet and the kindness of strangers. This story is a fascinating glimpse into the world of Nintendo collectors and the lengths they will go to obtain rare items. We can all learn something from Voskuil’s perseverance and dedication, and appreciate the historic value of these unique playing cards.

MrBeast Purchases Neighborhood For Staff To Reside In

Popular YouTuber MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, has purchased an entire North Carolina neighborhood for himself, his family, and his employees to live in. The 25-year-old YouTuber has purchased five homes on the same Greenville street in the last five years, most of them off-market, for a total of approximately $2 million. The Post reports that Donaldson purchased his own home in 2018 for $320,000, and then purchased his second property for $263,000 in 2020, followed by the remaining three for $1.45 million.

With a net worth of $54 million, Donaldson has been able to afford this extensive real estate purchase, made possible by his viral videos. His 23-hour-long video of him counting to 100,000 went viral in 2017 and has received over 28 million views to date.

His expensive stunt videos, where he does things like gift YouTubers a private jet or pay for life-changing surgeries while filming, continue to receive hundreds of millions of views, making the $2 million purchase seem like a small expense.

Donaldson’s actions are reminiscent of billionaire Elon Musk, who bought a Texas town a few years ago and turned it into a rocket launch site. In a time where U.S. home ownership is steadily declining, Donaldson’s purchase is bringing back the idea of the company town, an isolated neighborhood dedicated to industry in the late 19th century. While Donaldson’s move has received some criticism, it is clear that he is using his wealth to provide a unique opportunity for his employees to live and work in the same area.
