It’s Free!! HBO’s The Last of Us Episode 1 Officially Released on YouTube

Well this is a brief intro of the characters for you, by them, through them. But now the great news is if you are from UK the 120 minute-long episode 1 of HBO’s The Last of Us has been uploaded to the YouTube channel of Sky TV (where the show is available in the UK) for free and will likely soon be uploaded to HBO’s YouTube too. But the rest are still behind subscription services.

The series, based on the popular video game of the same name, follows the journey of a young girl and a hardened survivor as they travel across a post-apocalyptic America. Fans can now watch the first episode without a subscription to HBO, making it accessible to a wider audience. The move to release the episode on YouTube is a part of the network’s efforts to reach a larger audience and engage with fans.

This is not its first as HBO had pulled a similar move in September by uploading the first episode of Game of Thrones spin-off House of the Dragon to YouTube, though that was later removed for those outside of the U.S.
