“Idol” is the opening theme song of the television anime adaptation of Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari’s Oshi no Ko manga, which premiered in Japan on April 12 with a 90-minute first episode. The series is directed by Daisuke Hiramaki and Chao Nekotomi at Doga Kobo, with Jin Tanaka handling the series scripts and Kanna Hirayama designing the characters.
