Hazelight Studios Celebrates It Takes Two’s Surpassing 10 Million Sales

Hazelight Studios, the developer of the cooperative adventure game “It Takes Two,” has announced that the game has sold over 10 million copies. Electronic Arts was the publisher of the game which was released in March 2021. The news was shared by the developer on Twitter, expressing their excitement and gratitude towards the fans. Hazelight mentioned that the potential number of players who have enjoyed the game could be twice the sales figure, a dream come true for the developer.

The sales milestone is even more impressive given that “It Takes Two” had already sold over 7 million copies by July 2022. In the past seven months, the game has added another 3 million in sales and was also released on the Nintendo Switch in November. The cooperative game was awarded the Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2021.

Hazelight Studios, known for their previous work on “A Way Out,” has teased that their next project will be “something really f**cking cool.” There are even rumors of “It Takes Two” being turned into a movie for Amazon Prime Video with Dwayne Johnson.
