Game Freak, the developer behind Pokémon, unveils new game project ‘Bloom
Private Division, the publishing label of Take-Two Interactive, has announced its partnership with renowned Japanese game developer GAME FREAK to publish a new action-adventure title codenamed Project Bloom. While still in early development, the project is expected to launch in Take-Two Interactive’s fiscal year 2026, which spans from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026.
While details on Project Bloom are scarce, fans of GAME FREAK’s work can expect the same level of creativity and innovation that the developer has become known for. With a storied history that dates back to the original Pokémon Red and Blue games in 1996, GAME FREAK has been at the forefront of the gaming industry for decades.
