Fortnite Update: Leaks Unveil In-Game Appearances of Miles Morales and Spider-Man 2099
Epic Games has been teasing Fortnite fans with a sneak peek of the upcoming Miles Morales character. However, the official visuals were not disclosed. Thanks to a known Fortnite informant, Shiina, we now have a potential first look at the in-game designs for both Miles Morales and Spider-Man 2099.

Shiina’s Twitter post unveiled the Fortnite character skins for both versions of Spider-Man. The official timeline for the Spider-Man crossover event is yet to be announced by Epic Games. Still, another noted leaker, iFireMonkey, suggests the event will span from May 18 to June 8. The event is expected to feature new quests, innovative Web Shooters, and a Miles Morales skin, possibly debuting in the Item Shop. Additional Miles Morales-themed items, including Emotes, Back Blings, and Outfits, are likely to be available for purchase, similar to past character skins.
Spider-Gwen is also reported to make an appearance on the Fortnite map as a Non-Player Character (NPC). The availability of the Spider-Man 2099 skin, whether through in-game quests or purchasable from the Item Shop, remains uncertain.
The Fortnite Spider-Man crossover event is conveniently timed with the release of the animated movie, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, hitting theaters on June 2. The movie, a sequel to the 2018 hit Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, spotlights Miles Morales, making this Fortnite event even more enticing for fans of the franchise.
