Honkai’s Star Rail Game Achieves Impressive Milestone Within 48 Hours of Release

The latest game from HoYoverse, Honkai: Star Rail, has achieved a remarkable milestone of over 20 million downloads within just two days of its launch. The developer team behind the hugely popular Genshin Impact, HoYoverse had over 30 million pre-registered users for Honkai: Star Rail, which has now broken the record of reaching number one on the iOS game download chart in more countries than any previous game.
According to Daniel Ahmad, the Director of Research & Insights at Niko Partners, Honkai: Star Rail’s success is even more impressive given that the game looks similar to Genshin Impact but has a vastly different gameplay experience. While Genshin Impact emphasizes real-time action, Star Rail is a turn-based RPG.
Although the game is only available on PC and mobile devices at present, Honkai: Star Rail is scheduled to launch on PS4 and PS5 at some point in the future. However, there is no news on when the PlayStation versions will be released, and it is not known whether the game will be available on other platforms like Xbox or Nintendo Switch.
Honkai: Star Rail is a free-to-play game available on iOS, Android, and PC.
