On April 13, Nintendo released the final trailer for their highly anticipated game, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, providing fans with new details about the upcoming Breath of the Wild sequel, such as the return of the Gleeok enemies and the introduction of the Zonai tribe. With the game set to launch on May 12 for the Switch, Nintendo has been promoting the game heavily, including the recent release of Tears of the Kingdom’s main theme song, which has been receiving rave reviews. Twitch streamer and Nintendo content creator Aero even extracted the theme from the game’s Japanese website and uploaded it to Twitter for fans to enjoy. The song starts off slowly, featuring horns, strings, and claps, with a flute leading the melody, but quickly builds up to a crescendo with blaring horns, pounding piano keys, and dramatic cymbals. As we eagerly await the game’s release, we can only wonder how the theme song will be used within the game, perhaps even as more than just the opening theme or even remixed for the final boss fight.
