Jennifer Lopez Shows Off Her Badassery in Netflix’s Latest Action Thriller, THE MOTHER

Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for the upcoming action thriller film, The Mother, starring Jennifer Lopez in the lead role. The movie follows the story of a former assassin who is forced to come out of hiding to protect her estranged daughter from dangerous assailants.

The trailer shows Lopez’s character fighting back against the villains who have taken her daughter, showcasing her skills as an action star. The film promises to be a thrilling ride filled with intense action scenes, as Lopez’s character takes on anyone who threatens her or her daughter.

Directed by Niki Caro, known for her work on the live-action adaptation of Mulan, The Mother features a script written by Misha Green of Lovecraft Country fame, with revisions by Andrea Berloff, the screenwriter behind Straight Outta Compton. The movie also stars Joseph Fiennes, Lucy Paez, Omari Hardwick, Paul Raci, and Gael Garcia Bernal.
