Zachary Gordon replaces Tighnari in Genshin Impact’s cast

The official Twitter account of Genshin Impact video game recently announced that they have replaced the voice actor of the character Tighnari with Zachary Gordon. This decision was made after Elliot Gindi, who was originally cast for the role, breached his contract. The breach was related to allegations of sexual misconduct against Gindi, as reported by a former moderator of his Twitch and Discord accounts. The moderator shared a document containing alleged screenshots of Gindi’s interactions with several fans, some of whom were reportedly underage at the time. Gindi acknowledged the authenticity of the screenshots in a TwitLonger post but denied being aware of the ages of his partners. Over 50 voice actors from Genshin Impact publicly condemned Gindi’s alleged behavior. Zachary Gordon, who has previously lent his voice to characters like Hayner in Kingdom Hearts III and Kotaro in the Afro Samurai: Resurrection anime film, has now taken over the role of Tighnari.
