It’s Surpisring That ChatGPT Is Pretty Good at Writing-Malware Too
ChatGPT, the multi-talented AI-chatbot, has many great things to offer but now it has yet another skill to add – crafting sophisticated “polymorphic” malware, which means chatbot from OpenAI is also great at developing malicious programming that can royally screw with your hardware.
Though, Infosec professionals have been trying to sound the alarm about how the new AI-powered tool could change the game when it comes to cybercrime, they have ended up creating more complex types of malware hasn’t been broadly written about yet.
The issue is this malware can cryptographically shapeshift its way around traditional security mechanisms, many of which are built to identify and detect malicious file signatures.
This is no hypothetical scenario but a very real concern.
