A Police Officer Canned For Scamming Store Out Of Pokemon Cards
Pokemon Cards is a collectable & pricey too, so former police officer of the Johnson County Sherriff’s office in Kansas – William Knight thought switching bar codes on boxes of Pokemon Cards would help him to get it cheaper.
He was actually caught trying to short-change a store out of nearly $400 worth of Pokémon cards & discharged from his duty.
Knight was charged with unlawful acts involved in theft detection but ultimately evaded a criminal case being brought against him.
He quit his role at the Johnson County Sherriff’s office three days after the incident but the action has been taken to ensure he does not get police work elsewhere in the State.
